After we get settled into our cabin, we head up to the top deck for our traditional on deck for departure sail away from the port.

The stewards are very busy trying to accommodate every passengers refreshment needs.  my new favorite for the trip became Alaskan Brewery’s Amber Ale.  Excellent beer (Mental note: find more when I return home)!!

The ship now moves out at a nice leisurely pace into the Strait of Georgia, heading for the Inside Passage of Southeastern Alaska.
